PARAQUAT 20% SL is a fast-acting non-selective contact herbicide formulated as a Soluble Liquid (SL), used for rapid control of a wide range of annual weeds and grasses in agricultural and non-crop areas.

 Mode of Action:

Paraquat: A contact herbicide that disrupts photosynthesis (Photosystem I), producing reactive oxygen species that destroy plant cell membranes.

It acts quickly on green plant tissue causing rapid desiccation and visible burn within hours of application.

It is not translocated so it affects only the sprayed parts of the plant.

Target Weeds:
