Lufenuron 5% SC
Lufenuron 5% SC is a modern insect growth regulator (IGR)
insecticide belonging to the benzoylurea group, widely used for the control of
lepidopteran (caterpillar) pests in agricultural crops.
Mode of Action:
Lufenuron works by inhibiting chitin synthesis, an essential component of the
insect exoskeleton. This disrupts molting and prevents larvae from developing
into adults, ultimately breaking the pest life cycle.
Target Pests:
