Emmamactin 1.9% EC
Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC is a highly effective,
semi-synthetic insecticide belonging to the avermectin group, widely used for
controlling lepidopteran (caterpillar) pests in various agricultural crops.
Mode of Action:
Emamectin acts on the insect nervous system by increasing chloride ion flow
through GABA-gated channels, leading to paralysis, cessation of feeding, and
death of the pest.
Target Pests:
Effective against bollworms, fruit borers, leaf folders, armyworms, and other
chewing caterpillars.
